January 8, 2026–Written by Will Ploch, Assistant Editor-in-Chief for IIR News (Sugar Land, Texas)–TechnipFMC added another line to its U.S. deepwater roster after BP awarded it an engineering, procurement, construction and installation contract for the Tiber offshore oilfield development in the U.S. Gulf of Mexico. The project joins a list that includes work for Cenovus Energy and Shell on some of those companies’ heaviest deepwater investments.
