
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is expected to travel to Pakistan on Friday, fuelling optimism for a second round of talks between Washington and Tehran.
According to a source in Islamabad and Pakistan’s state broadcaster, Araghchi will travel with a “small team”, and was due to arrive by Friday night, Pakistan time.
Iran’s semi-official Mehr News Agency also reported that the top Iranian diplomat was planning a series of visits to Islamabad, Muscat and Moscow in the following days.
