Global response has been muted so far to President Donald Trump’s proclamation of a new set of tariffs on most goods produced by nearly every country in the world, in response to an adverse ruling from U.S. Supreme Court a week ago. Aside from legal challenges that are said to be under consideration, the rest of the world seems to have taken a “wait-and-see” approach.
