February 03, 2026–Written by Martin Lynch for Industrial Info Resources (Galway, Ireland, Texas)–European leaders and energy ministers have committed to cooperating on the creation of what they called the world’s largest energy hub in the North Sea based around the rollout of more affordable and secure offshore wind and hydrogen.
North Sea countries have agreed to deliver 100 gigawatts (GW) of offshore wind power through joint clean‑energy projects by 2040.
