December 3, 2025–Written by Amir Richani for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)–Ecopetrol, the Colombian state company, announced investment of between 22 and 27 trillion Colombian pesos (approximately US$5.7 billion and US$7 billion) as part of its 2026 Annual Investment Plan.
Hydrocarbon exploration and production will receive 14 trillion pesos (US$3.7 billion), with 89% for oil and 11% for gas.
