Presidents’ Day is coming up fast, marking the first major sales event of the year. If you’ve been shopping for a new monitor to upgrade your desktop setup, the 27-inch Asus ProArt PA278CFRV is well worth a look.

Right now at B&H Photo Video, the ProArt PA27 is on sale for $249, which is $80 off its original price. The retailer is also offering a bundle that pairs the monitor with the CaliContrO Colorimeter for $449, saving you $50. The Colorimeter is a special device used to help calibrate the display for precise color accuracy. It can also function as a five-way navigator, letting users quickly hop between menus and key features.

This isn’t any old monitor. The ProArt PA27 is part of Asus’ creator-focused ProArt series, built specifically for color-critical work. It houses a 2560 x 1440 IPS panel with 95% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB color coverage, along with support for VESA DisplayHDR 400 and MediaSync Display technologies. Together, these features deliver sharp visuals, accurate colors, and smooth performance without stuttering or weird screen tearing. The screen is also covered in an Anti-Glare, Low-Reflection (AGLR) coating, which helps maintain clarity in brightly lit environments.

What makes this model particularly useful for high-productivity setups is its solid selection of ports and ergonomic design. The monitor supports HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB-C with 96W Power Delivery, allowing you to charge a laptop while you work. Its slim panel sits on a fully adjustable stand that lets you tilt, swivel, pivot, and raise the display as you see fit.

How I rated this deal

As per ZDNET’s rating system, I grant this deal a score of 3/5. An $80 discount amounts to roughly 25% off, making it a solid price drop. I’d recommend this monitor to creative professionals, like photographers, video editors, and graphic designers, who want a color-accurate display to enhance their workflow.
