Industrial Info Resources is tracking more than 50 solar microgrid projects across the U.S. for purposes ranging from airports to municipal facilities to universities. According to Industrial Info Resources data, more than $3 billion worth of these solar microgrids are being planned or are actively under construction in the U.S. Industrial Info Resources has rated just shy of $2 billion worth of these as having a medium to high probability (70-100%) of moving forward as planned.
