March 10, 2026–U.S. wind, solar and battery capacities grew at a record pace in 2025, according to the American Clean Power Association (ACP). The three energy sources added a total of 50,344 megawatts (MW)/50.3 gigawatts (GW) in 2025, up from 48.7 GW in 2024. This marks the first time annual deployment reached 50 GW.
