Shanghai residents offload their gold as prices surge to record highs




Shanghai residents have been flocking to sell gold as the price of the precious metal surges to record highs.
The latest jump in gold prices was fuelled by ongoing economic and geopolitical uncertainties, but prices slumped by 4 per cent on Friday, January 30.
