December 16, 2025–Written by Paul Wiseman for Industrial Info Resources (Sugar Land, Texas)–U.S. wind, solar and battery capacities grew at a record pace in the third quarter of 2025, according to the American Clean Power Association (ACP). The three energy sources added a total of 11.7 gigawatts (GW) of new utility-scale capacity, 14% more than in third-quarter 2024.
