A man has been charged with murder following a fatal assault at a caravan park.
The victim, in his 40s, died from serious injuries at Valley Farm Holiday Park in Clacton-on-Sea on Wednesday evening, Essex Police said.
Daniel Fox, 39, of Hampden Crescent, Warley, has been charged with his murder and is due before magistrates in Chelmsford on Saturday.
He is also accused of burglary, two offences of making threats to kill and three counts of assaulting an emergency worker.
Det Insp Tim Coyles, who is leading the investigation, said specialist officers were supporting the family of the deceased man, who was from Frinton-on-Sea.
“I know this incident has caused a great deal of shock within the community around the holiday park and I want to thank the public for their support and understanding,” he added.
