The Embassy of India in Kuwait marked Gandhi Jayanti on October 2 with a series of programmes celebrating the life and legacy of Mahatma Gandhi.
Indian students and local artists came together for a commemorative programme that portrayed different facets of Gandhi’s life and journey through the performing arts, highlighting his philosophy of truth, non-violence and peace.
Ambassador Paramita Tripathi, Embassy officials and children from Indian schools in Kuwait also paid floral tributes to Gandhi, honouring his enduring legacy and message of peace.
The Embassy also organised painting activities across Indian schools in Kuwait to mark Gandhi’s birth anniversary. The initiative gave students an opportunity to express their creativity while reflecting on Gandhi’s values and ideals.
The programmes highlighted how Gandhi’s message continues to resonate with younger generations in India, Kuwait and around the world.
