Bihar government approves land acquisition for two airports



Bihar’s Nitish Kumar-led Cabinet approved land acquisition for two new airports in Saharsa and Bhagalpur, significantly boosting regional air connectivity under the UDAN scheme. This involves substantial compensation packages for land. Concurrently, the cabinet sanctioned funds for Electronic Voting Machines for the 2026 Panchayat General Elections, aiming for greater efficiency and transparency in local polls.
