The eighth edition of the PM Mementos e-Auction, featuring gifts and artefacts presented to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has been extended till October 31, 2026.
The latest edition features 30 mementos showcasing different facets of Delhi, including its religious and cultural traditions, institutions, infrastructure and public achievements. The items are open for public bidding, with proceeds from the auction going to the Namami Gange Project.
The collection comprises nine photo frames, nine mementos and six idols, sculptures and statues. It also includes two Delhi Metro models, sports memorabilia, a painting and several art and craft items.
Among the religious and cultural artefacts are four items depicting Lord Ram or scenes from the Ramayana. These include a Ram Darbar sculpture, a brass plaque depicting Ram, Sita and Lakshman crossing a river with Kevat, a painting of Saint Dada Dev from Palam Village and a carved wooden statue of Ram Lalla.
The collection also features the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Buddhism, also known as Ashtamangala, which hold spiritual significance and are traditionally associated with Buddhist teachings and the enlightenment of the Buddha.
Several mementos showcase Delhi’s institutional heritage. These include a framed artwork depicting St. Stephen’s College, a crystal memento of the Old Secretariat building and a textile artwork representing the New Parliament Building.
The collection also includes items linked to public life and achievements. Among them is a detailed pencil sketch of Prime Minister Narendra Modi made by a student from Rohini.
A discus associated with Paralympic silver medallist Yogesh Kathuniya represents sporting achievement and perseverance, while the NCC’s gold-polished Param Vir Mati Kalash reflects the spirit of service and remembrance.
Another featured item is a portrait rendered on a natural, skeletonised Bodhi leaf.
The mementos bring together representations of Delhi’s people, institutions and landmarks, ranging from student artwork and the Delhi Metro to the Legislative Assembly and the New Parliament Building.
The auction provides members of the public an opportunity to bid for the artefacts, with the proceeds being utilised for the Namami Gange Project.
Details regarding the auction, participation and the complete catalogue are available on the PM Mementos e-Auction portal.
