PM Modi unveils logo for birth centenary celebrations of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swami

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday met Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami of Sri Pejavara Adhokshaja Matha, Udupi, Karnataka, and unveiled the logo for the birth centenary celebrations of Padma Vibhushan Yatikula Chakravarti Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swami.

The Prime Minister said the life of Sri Vishwesha Tirtha Swami, marked by devotion, learning and service, continues to inspire countless people.

He added that various initiatives being undertaken in the run-up to the birth centenary celebrations would help carry forward his noble ideals.

In a post on X, PM Modi said he met Sri Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swamiji along with other dignitaries and unveiled the logo for the birth centenary celebrations.

The Prime Minister also highlighted the spiritual leader’s contribution and said his ideals would continue to inspire people.

Earlier, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah met Sri Vishwaprasanna Tirtha Swami in New Delhi on Monday.

Shah said he was fortunate to meet the revered saint of Pejavara Mutt and seek his blessings during the 39th holy Chaturmasya Vrat in New Delhi.

He highlighted the significance of Chaturmasya Vrat in Indian culture, describing it as a practice associated with renunciation, meditation, restraint and inner awakening.
