Four sentenced to 7 years for role in Rohingya trafficking network

According to prosecution officials, the court awarded the maximum seven-year sentence under IPC Sections 467, 471 and 370, including the provision relating to trafficking. They said the four were also sentenced under sections 419, 420, 468 and 120B of the IPC and relevant provisions of the Foreigners Act. The sentences will run concurrently, with the period already spent in custody set off against the sentence, they added.
