Keralam Governor Om Prakash Mathur on Wednesday met Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
During his visit, Mathur also called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh.
On Tuesday, the governor met President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
Mathur was sworn in as the 29th Governor of Keralam last month, succeeding Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who has been appointed Governor of Tamil Nadu.
Hailing from Bedal village in Rajasthan’s Pali district, Mathur graduated from Rajasthan University and entered public life as an RSS pracharak. He later served as BJP general secretary in charge of Gujarat and as a Rajya Sabha member from Rajasthan.
