Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri will undertake a 2-day official visit to Nepal from November 4 to 5 at the invitation of Nepal’s Foreign Secretary Amrit Bahadur Rai.
The visit will provide an opportunity for the two sides to review the full range of India-Nepal relations and exchange views on matters of mutual interest.
During the visit, Misri will hold bilateral discussions with his Nepali counterpart. The discussions will focus on further strengthening the longstanding, close and friendly relations between the two neighbouring countries.
He is also scheduled to pay courtesy calls on senior Nepali dignitaries during his stay in Kathmandu. He will depart for New Delhi on November 5.
The visit is part of the regular high-level exchanges between India and Nepal, reflecting the importance both countries attach to their bilateral relationship.
India and Nepal share longstanding historical, cultural, and people-to-people ties, with cooperation spanning trade, connectivity, energy, development partnership, and other areas.
